Finally went out to The Orlando Wetlands park recently. It is one of the best places to go to “get away from the house” and other people in the time of COVID. One of my favorites in this series is the alligator waiting to cross the road. The image looks like it is converted to black and white, but it was shot looking into the sun and that gives it the effect. After I got the shot, I was walking back to the entrance when another photographer yelled to me to turn around. As I did, the alligator was crossing the road to the other pond. I was too far away at that point to get a good shot, but he was waiting for me to get out of his way so he could go about his day.
