When I am on the road and shooting a landscape, or waiting for the perfect timing to capture a street shot, I often find these little gems. These images were captured in Italy, The Netherlands, and in my back yard over the last several years. The pure color, structure and vibrance of spring blossoms is always a draw for me. The dance of light in the golden hour always seems to bring new life into the composition as it constantly changes as the sun sets. A friend of mine Sam, A.K.A. Rusty Pliers, calls these “zen moments” and what a good description it is. Spending a few moments admiring a simple, short lived beauty in its full glory, is a great way to live in a few “zen moments”.
