Kathy and I were wandering the streets of Paris, looking for the shopping area that Julia Childs frequented when she was living there. We eventually found the street and all of the vendors selling fresh vegetables and other assorted wares. As we kept exploring, the Eiffel Tower kept popping into view. Finally we came closer to the tower and the buildings and park surrounding it. I love these views of the Tower, it starts to blend into the neighborhoods, instead of a solo steel monolith, standing sentinel. Seen through the trees and city streets, this icon of Paris seems approachable and starts to become part of the ironwork balconies, cafes and brick streets.
Stunning shot, Eric. I always love your perspectives

Thanks!
